41. Did I Miss The Part Where It Said I Can't Do This? - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
All the talk about C1 and C2... I thought he was talking about wormholes.

42. carebear? - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
"Carebear" is a term that elitist-minded PvP-ers use to describe the members of their alliance who are paying the bills right before their alliance loses membership and goes bankrupt.

43. Salvaging question - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
I think as a newbie, the world is open to a lot of things you want to do. Look up ninja-salvaging on google and give it a shot. Worst that can happen is you'll get bored of it and move on to something else. But I had fun with it for a while.

44. C1 income......looking for information..... - in Wormholes [original thread]
Oh, one thing I forgot - an Orca won't fit in a C1 I believe. And really, it's so expensive that you don't want to use it unless it's helping you do something that makes a lot more money than you'll get out of a C1.

45. C1 income......looking for information..... - in Wormholes [original thread]
Wormhole PI may be the best PI, but I think the income from it is sometimes a bit exaggerated. A lot of the best profit from it comes with max PI skills and the commitment to babysit your colonies constantly for maximum yield. This basically mean...

46. Salvaging question - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
Have a look at this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UDuUtd5GdXM Salvaging is best either the way he's talking about, or when you can scan down ships running level IV mission sites, swoop in and salvage their wrecks out from under them. ...

47. Starting out Logistics. - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
If you're just hoarding a character to sell it, why are you even playing the game? This is the newbie forum. Not the jaded bitter-vet forum.

48. Starting out Logistics. - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
New characters get a couple free remaps, so it's not as big a blow as it would be otherwise.

49. Starting out Logistics. - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
If you're interested in logi cruisers, I'd recommend the Scythe. Osprey's are great, but they require a lot of cap skills that newbies probably won't have. You really have to spend time training up your support skills if you want to fly logi. I ...

50. Mobile Tractor Unit or Noctis in WH? - in Wormholes [original thread]
Except that if you're just coming back to salvage a tightly grouped cluster of wrecks around a tractor unit, why would you do it in a Noctis? Why not do it in a super-tanked agile cruiser with all salvagers on the high slots and warp core stabs o...

52. Exploration, the next step - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
What's your endgame here? Is it to become the ultimate elusive solo-explorer/nomad, slipping in and out of lowsec, nullsec, and wormhole space at will and making your money while avoiding being caught? Or is it more PvP oriented? Or are you look...

53. Mobile Tractor Unit or Noctis in WH? - in Wormholes [original thread]
You're not getting the point of the tractor unit. Yes, a Noctis can salvage, but it's also slower than a garbage scow. You waste tons of time trying to microwarp around to get within tractor range of all the wrecks. Using tractor units has cut m...

54. Is living in a wormhole the most efficient way of making ISK? - in Wormholes [original thread]
Making tons of money in wormholes requires a lot of time commitment. If your the type of guy who just logs in a couple hours each evening and that's it - then this may not be a massive payout for you. Don't forget PI. It may not be insane ISK, bu...

55. Double tanking? - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
As a general rule - mixing types of anything is a usually a bad idea in ship fitting. Don't mix guns/weapons, and don't mix tank.

56. Stupid Stuff You've Done in Eve - in Wormholes [original thread]

57. WH question - in Wormholes [original thread]
There's also nothing stopping you from just going nomad, hunting for C3s, farming them and living in them temporarily in a small POS, and then moving on to another C3.

58. WH question - in Wormholes [original thread]
Don't bother with C2s, they're PvP hubs. I'd recommend just putting in the work to find another C3. Or alternatively, find a good wormhole with a static C3. Your static is where you make the real money in wormholes anyway. No matter what class of...

59. Exploration Questions: Preparing for the Jump from High-Sec to Low and/or Null - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
This should help you: http://eveoganda.blogspot.com/2012/06/low-sec-roamers-map.html Note that there are only a few areas of New Eden that you can go that far into low sec (I was in Arridia when I did it). But you don't necessarily have to go ...

60. Looking for some direciton - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
You don't really have to master frigates first if you've got a big enough budget to pay for cruisers indefinitely, for example. Just depends on what you want to do. If you want to do missioning for a while, I'd suggest going the cruiser route, if...
